Schedule Your Tour

Steps To Enrollment

Step 1:

Complete an online inquiry form.

Step 2:

Schedule a school tour online at our Atlanta or Dunwoody campuses, or call an admissions representative at (470) 524-7095.

Step 3:

Once you are ready to apply for enrollment, provide us with the following required documents:

Documentation and copies can be emailed, mailed, or brought into our admissions office.
Email to: admissions@elainesterling.com

Step 4:

Meet with a financial aid representative. Your financial aid process may include one or more of the following options:

If you are uncomfortable or do not understand this process, please email the Financial Aid office at financialaid@elainesterling.com and immediately schedule an appointment for them to assist you. Book your Financial Aid appointment by clicking here. The Elaine Sterling Institute has computers on site in the event prospective students would like to complete their FAFSA® on-campus.

View more financial aid options and details on our financial aid page.

Step 5:

Pay a non-refundable $75 enrollment fee. This payment can be arranged through an appointment with an admissions or financial aid representative.

Step 6:

Take an entrance exam. Your admissions representative will schedule a time for you to take an entrance exam that will measure your reading, writing, math, comprehension, motivation, and personality traits. The exam should not take any longer than one hour to complete. Once your exam is complete, our admissions team will review your application and exam results to determine your eligibility for admission into your selected program.

This step can be completed the same day as the tour.

Step 7:

Once you have selected your program of study and start date, you can complete the ESI Enrollment Agreement with your admissions representative.

Step 8:

Discuss payment options with a financial aid representative. We will contact you approximately three to five business days after your FAFSA® is received. The financial aid representative will discuss your options for paying tuition with you at that time.

We cannot discuss estimated financial aid awards with you until the school has received a completed FAFSA®.

If Selected for Verification:
Approximately 40% of all students are chosen for verification. The verification process is to clear any discrepancies in the information provided on the FAFSA® application. The verification process will include requests for additional documentation from the student or parent (such as tax transcripts, school transcripts, and identification). Once the verification worksheets are completed by the student, the school can submit the documentation for review.

This process can take two to three weeks. Once you are selected for verification, there is no guarantee of a start date until the verification process is completed. Once the verification is reviewed and cleared, ESI can begin the process of determining the estimated financial aid available to the student.

If Not Selected for Verification:
If the student’s FAFSA® is not selected for verification, ESI can begin the process of determining the estimated financial aid available for the student.

Step 9: Acceptance

Admission to the Elaine Sterling Institute is a multi-step process that consists of evaluating prior academic experience and post-secondary readiness of eligible applicants. Accepted students will be notified of acceptance and provided with a class start date.

Orientation is mandatory, and all students must attend.

Completion of the admissions steps does NOT guarantee acceptance into a program of study.

Please Note: All the steps listed above must be completed before or on the first day of class. If a student does not have all the required documentation, the student’s start date may be moved to the next class, or the student’s program kit will be held until all steps are completed and all required documentation has been provided.

Elaine, it was my pleasure to get to know you and have you as my mentor during my time as your student during my introduction to esthetics. Without your expertise and approval I may not have had the confidence I needed to face such a major career change. Thank you so much!

Marisa Costigan

I am really glad I took the laser class offered at The Elaine Sterling Institute. Elaine’s school is very nice & professional. Tony Stanfill is an excellent instructor and she is very thorough in teaching laser safety and education. I thought there was plenty of hands on experience with the different lasers. After taking the class, I got offered a position at a dermatology practice.

Elaine Sterling has not only been a great instructor, but has continued to lead her students. I now own a medical spa and Elaine continues to provide guidance and clinical advice for me. I appreciate and admire her ambition in this field and look forward to her continued support.
